Concentrix would 'cut first, think later' say MPs
MPs have strongly criticised HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and the American company, Concentrix, over their handling of tax credits.
It comes after hundreds of claimants said their payments were withdrawn incorrectly by the firm this summer.
The Work and Pensions Select Committee says Concentrix had a "cut first, think later" approach to reducing fraud and error in the tax credit system.
Committee chair Frank Field MP was joined in a discussion with Victoria by Jo Dykins and Paul Elite, who both had tax credits stopped by the firm.
