Sexual exploitation 'corrodes trust' in police
Dame Anne Owers, who chairs the Independent Police Complaints Commission, tells The World At One that while cases of police abusing their power for sexual gain are rare, "where it occurs it is extremely serious".
She says such abuse "falls under the definition of serious corruption and as such should always be referred to the IPCC".
