'Filthy' Cape Town detention centre 'must improve'
A judge has ordered the South African government to reduce overcrowding in a detention centre in Cape Town.
Conditions at Pollsmoor Remand Detention Facility in Cape Town were described as "filthy" and "appalling".
The case was brought by the Sonke Gender Justice and Lawyers for Human Rights in the Western Cape Province.
