75 years on a survivor of the sinking of the HMS Repulse recounts his experience
Just a few days after the Battle of Pearl Harbour in December 1941 the British naval squadron Force Z was dispatched to intercept Japanese invasion convoys in the South China Sea.
Maurice Pink survived the sinking of HMS Repulse 75 years ago today, and is chairman of HMS Prince of Wales & HMS Repulse Survivors Association. He shares his memories of the event and gives thanks to the man who he credits with saving his life.
