Met boss on Operation Midland and hate crime
It is possible those wrongfully accused in Operation Midland will receive compensation
It is "perfectly possible" those wrongfully accused in Operation Midland will receive compensation, Met commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe has said.
The force has come under fire amid claims it over-reacted to allegations in the inquiry into a 1970s and 1980s paedophile ring.
Sir Bernard mentioned Former head of the Army Lord Bramall and former MP Harvey Proctor as people who would require compensation.
