Santa鈥檚 secret: How he gets down Xmas chimneys
A physicist has told 麻豆社 5 live that Einstein's Theory of Relativity could explain the science behind Santa's magic.
Santa and his reindeer have to travel so fast around the world that, according to Einstein鈥檚 theory, they would shrink 鈥 enabling him to squeeze through even the tightest of chimneys.
Speaking to Emma Barnett, Dr Katy Sheen, a physicist at Exeter University, said that Father Christmas would have to travel faster than a jet aircraft.
"It used to puzzle me as a kid, but it turns out that he would have to travel six million miles per hour.鈥
