Iraq: the widow who kept her smile
In Iraq the offensive to eject so-called Islamic State from Mosul has become embroiled in urban fighting.
Many of those fleeing the city have come to the emergency hospital in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan.
One of them is Betoul Ahmed, a mother who despite being widowed and badly injured by a mine, remains positive about her future.
