A cancer survivor has told 麻豆社 5 live how she is spending her wedding day running a marathon.

Jackie Scully found a cancerous lump on her right breast on Christmas Eve in 2013, the following day her fianc茅 Duncan proposed after 13 years together.

Speaking to Adrian Chiles, she explained that it was her fianc茅 who wanted her to run a marathon on their wedding day, which will take place on the Cutty Sark ship at 7:30am.

She will then run the London marathon later that day, where she hopes to raise 拢15k for cancer charities.

鈥淚 realised that I had to dedicate that aisle to the people who helped me. It has to do with running because that鈥檚 what kept us going.鈥�
