Saddam Hussein, the Iraqi dictator, was hanged ten years ago.

A man who came to know him better than most has written a book about their encounters and about his execution: John Nixon was the CIA man who debriefed and interrogated Saddam after he was captured.

Justin spoke to Mr Nixon about the man and his fate. Nixon makes some unusual observations about Hussein, saying he was "funny, self-deprecating, witty and charming".
