An expert in US politics has claimed President Donald Trump鈥檚 inauguration speech was the 鈥渁ngriest鈥� he had ever heard.

Dr Mike Cornfield, associate professor of Political Management at the George Washington University, told 麻豆社 Radio 5 live's Anna Foster he thought President Trump's address was 鈥渆xtraordinary for a man who did not win the popular vote and who did not fill this mall鈥�.

鈥淚t was confrontational, particularly angry at everyone in Washington D.C., everyone who is a part of established government and system,鈥� he said. 鈥淚t was vintage populism: I am the voice of the people, we will get the job done and to heck with the rest of you.鈥�
