It's nearly 8 months since the UK voted to leave the EU.

But has it affected you or your life in any way? The chances are, that it hasn't really.
But, it does have an effect on our environment, and most importantly our wildlife. Most of the UK's wildlife and environmental legislation is based around EU directives and there's uncertainty on how these will be replaced.

Ben Jackson spoke to Wildlife presenter Mike Dilger, and he told him about how EU legislation has historically helped wildlife.
