Blunt: MPs should have been told about failed Trident test
The chairman of the foreign affairs committee has told the World at One that the Prime Minister "must have been" told that a Trident missile test had failed.
Crispin Blunt is the only Conservative MP to have voted against the renewal of the Trident nuclear weapons system.
He told Martha Kearney that the House of Commons should have been informed about the incident, which happened a few weeks before MPs voted.
