Actor Gorden Kaye best known for his role as cafe owner Rene Artois in the hit 麻豆社 sitcom 'Allo 'Allo, has died at the age of 75.

Vicki Michelle who played Yvette in the comedy said her former co-star was a "joy to work with".

Speaking to 5 live's Tony Livesey, she added Kaye was "a perfectionist" and "there could never be anyone else who could have played him [Rene] as well."
