Ross Brawn is Liberty Media's new managing director, and will now lead the sporting and technical side of F1 after Bernie Ecclestone was removed as chief executive .

Ecclestone has now been offered a new advisory role as chairman emeritus.

Brawn says that change is needed throughout the whole of F1 and smaller teams need to 'learn to stand on their own feet'.
