The man who鈥檚 collected 8,000 crisp packets
Many of us spend years collecting stamps or coins as a hobby, but one man in Hull is a collector of something more unusual 鈥 crisp packets. Gary Key from Cottingham has been collecting them for the last five years, and now has around 8,000 packets. He started after his wife became ill and he needed a distraction.
He puts the packets under the grill, places them in water and then rolls them into crisp packet balls.
Gary told 5 live鈥檚 Tony Livesey he has collected everything from 鈥淲alkers and Doritos, to Skips and Hula Hoops.鈥
He wants to place them all in a vase and ask that Hull City Council recognise them as an official piece of art.
