An artistic look back at migration over 400 years
The video artist and film maker John Akomfrah has won the UK's biggest prize for international contemporary art, the Artes Mundi. The winning piece, Auto Da F茅, continues John's longstanding look at migration. Presented as a poetic period drama, the film connects a series of eight historical migrations over the last 400 years caused by religious persecution and political turmoil. He's been speaking to Audrey Brown.
