Are prices creeping up?
As the Bank of England gives its latest prediction for inflation in 2017, Wake Up to Money looks at how much inflation has impacted the average UK household in the past year.
While the ONS reports wages have gone up 2% between 2016 and 2017, many essentials like utilities and housing have also seen an increase.
The biggest gain was in the housing market, which saw a year on year price rise 6.7% on average according to the Land Registry.
