Sarah (not her real name) hasn鈥檛 spoken to her granddad since her marriage to Mark, who is black.

The couple have two young children who have never met their great-grandad.

In a letter to her grandad, Sarah asks what has made him so hateful of people of other races that he was 鈥減repared to sacrifice鈥� her.

Sarah鈥檚 letter has been read by an actor and all names have been changed.
