Former England cricket captain says 鈥榯here is no such thing as team spirit鈥� in top level sport, and has questioned whether he ever had the support of the dressing room during his tenure as skipper in 2006/7.

Flintoff made the remarks to Robbie Savage and Matthew Syed while discussing the atmosphere in the Leicester City squad during 鈥楩lintoff, Savage and the Ping Pong Guy.鈥�

鈥淵ou need team spirit when it's not going well and what happens is human nature, people go off into their groups, they start backbiting, they start looking after their own backs, pointing fingers at other people,鈥� said Flintoff.

鈥淭here's no such thing as team spirit.

鈥淵ou talk about losing the dressing room, I'm not sure I ever had it, but team spirit is tested,鈥� he added.
