The government has proposed a new funding formula to allocate money to schools in England

After decades of campaigning by the F40 group about the gap between school budgets in the highest and lowest funded areas, the government has proposed a new plan for how to allocate money to schools in England.

The 麻豆社鈥檚 education editor Branwen Jeffreys reports and Sir Michael Wilshaw, former chief inspector of schools in England, says there's been "largesse in the system" but times are different now.
