Copeland: What does it mean for Labour?

Labour have lost the by-election in their once safe-seat of Copeland

The Conservatives have won the by-election in Copeland, meaning that for the first time in over 30 years Labour have lost a by-election whilst the Tories were in government.

Today鈥檚 Zoe Conway reports from Copeland. John McDonnell, the shadow chancellor, says the result is "really disappointing" and John Pienaar, the 麻豆社鈥檚 deputy political editor, tells Nick Robinson what the Labour Party will do now.
