鈥淚t鈥檚 all gone Pete Tong鈥� 鈥� the only way to describe what happened when the wrong winner was announced for Oscars Best Picture.
Incredibly, DJ Pete Tong was the first person 5 live鈥檚 Colin Paterson bumped into on the red carpet after the ceremony.
Describing how it all went so wrong, he told Colin: 鈥淲arren got the wrong envelope by the looks of it. I鈥檝e never seen anything like it 鈥� it all went Pete Tong!鈥�
Back in the studio, Nicky Campbell shared the pair鈥檚 disbelief:
鈥淭his is getting even more surreal. The whole thing goes Pete Tong and the first person you see is Pete Tong?!鈥�
