Green Party co-leader opens up about car crash killing
The Green Party co-leader Jonathan Bartley has told 麻豆社 5 live that he killed a student in a car crash when he was 17-years-old.
The accident happened while he was on his way home from a concert in London. The police did not press charges after an investigation.
Speaking to 5 live's Emma Barnett, Jonathan said the accidental death turned his life upside down.
"It's not about me, it's about the family whose lives were devastated. I woke up the next morning with this dark cloud, thinking that I should forfeit my life.鈥
