New schools may be '21st century model' grammars
In the Budget this week we will hear the chancellor proclaim an extra 拢320m to help fund up to 140 new schools, creating more than 70,000 new places.
Conservative MP Suella Fernandes is a member of the Education Select Committee. She is in favour of more grammar schools saying they "are a welcome addition to the choice on offer to parents" and that they will be "a 21st century model of grammar school".
