Hogg resignation: 'A regrettable business'
Charlotte Hogg has resigned as the new deputy governor of the Bank of England after a report from MPs found she had misled them about her brother's position at Barclays.
Andrew Tyrie, who chairs the Treasury Committee told the World at One that "this is a regrettable business with no winners". He also welcomed the reforms the Governor of the Bank has made in terms of the way the bank is now run.
