Why are bands finding it harder to tour?
While the internet and music streaming are helping British artists to extend their global reach, showcasing and touring are becoming more difficult with artists often having to survive on shoestring budgets or on the generosity of their fans.
Anna Bailey spoke to radio DJ Steve Lamacq, Chief Executive of the PRS Foundation, Vanessa Reed and artists Anna Meredith and Elf Kid about the challenges of touring.
