Mia Couto is a Mozambican writer and one of Lusophone Africa's most successful authors, winner of the Neustadt International Prize for Literature in 2014 and shortlisted for the Booker International prize in 2015.
He speaks to Focus on Africa's Hassan Arouni about his latest book, famously taking on South Africa's president, Jacob Zuma about issue of xenophobia attacks and nurturing new talent.
