'Stormont talks need government participation'
Talks aimed at forming a new power-sharing executive in Northern Ireland have broken down.
With no deal in sight before a 16:00 deadline today (Monday), the Northern Ireland Office will have to determine the way forward.
The former Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern, who was one of the architects of the Good Friday agreement, told Martha Kearney he hopes the secretary of state will bring in "an extension of time" for the talks, but that they should not go on beyond Easter.
