Iceland proposes world's toughest gender pay laws
Iceland's parliament is considering a new law that means most companies and institutions will have to prove that they are paying men and women the same. Any company with 25 or more employees will have to go through audits and receive certification that equal pay is provided, or they could face fines. But doesn't Iceland already have a good record on the gender pay gap? The 麻豆社's Roger Hearing spoke to L谩ra Hilmarsd贸ttir is a freelance journalist based in Reykjavik.
