Decriminalising homosexuality: McKellen marks 50th year
To mark the 50th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexual acts in private between two men in England and Wales, Sir Ian McKellen reads from a speech to parliament that helped change the law.
For Radio 4's World at One, the Oscar-nominated actor reads a section of Labour MP Leo Abse's speech to the House of Commons on 19th December 1966.
