Pensions lock 'should be adjusted' to pay for care
Sir Andrew Dilnot, whose proposed reforms for social care formed a key pledge in the last Conservative manifesto, says the pensions triple lock should now be "adjusted" to help pay for it.
He told Radio 4's The World at One that one of those three locks should be removed, with potential savings reallocated to help fund social care. He said now was the time for parties to commit to solving the challenge rather than just talking about it.
