Joe Marler believes Harlequins and England team-mate Kyle Sinckler has grown up a lot quicker than he did.

The two props were speaking about their development as players to Chris Jones and Ugo Monye on Rugby Union Weekly.

Marler said: "I do see a little bit of myself in Kyle, when I was younger.

"I was out there just doing what I wanted wasn't I? I was, I didn't listen to anyone, I was punching whoever, getting yellow carded, getting red carded,

"Sinkler has had tendencies like that but I think he’s grown up a lot quicker."

The England duo are both in Warren Gatland's 41-man squad for the summer tour of New Zealand.
