'Still one election to go' for Macron
French president-elect Emmanuel Macron faces a "very hard" legislative election next month as he will be challenged by the centre-right Republicans seeking "revenge", Le Figaro's Francois-Xavier Bourmaud has said.
"There is still one election to go for him to be able to get his programme done."
Mr Bourmaud's comments followed centrist Macron's defeat of the far right's Marine Le Pen, winning 66.1% of the vote to her 33.9%.
