Lagos State turns 50
Nigeria's most populous state is celebrating 50 years since its official foundation with a year's worth of cultural events. Dominated by the city of Lagos, the state is home to almost 20 million Nigerians. Chibundu Onuzo grew up there and has just written a novel called Welcome to Lagos. She told Weekend what makes her childhood home so special.
