Theresa May has vowed to end the "injustice" of rising energy bills by promising a cap on standard variable tariffs in the Tory election manifesto.

Business Secretary Greg Clark says that competition has not been efficient in the energy market.

He says the cap is necessary to safeguard people who aren't able to find better deals online.
