Dawson has 'total admiration' for Ben Youngs’ Lions withdrawal
Matt Dawson says he has "total admiration" for Ben Youngs after the 27-year-old withdrew from the British and Irish Lions tour of New Zealand.
England scrum-half Ben withdrew from Warren Gatland's squad after the wife of his brother Tom had learned she is terminally ill.
Former Lions scrum-half Dawson admits he "would have gone on the tour", but would have later regretted it, and says Youngs' decision to withdraw is "the most courageous, enormous decision" to have happened around a Lions selection for many years.
