Dilnot: Welcomes 'rethink' of social care policy
Theresa May has said proposed changes to social care funding in England will now include an "absolute limit" on the money people will have to pay.
The government had rejected the idea of a cap on spending, originally proposed by Sir Andrew Dilnot in a review for the government n 2011.
He told 麻豆社 Radio 4's World at One, he welcomed the change of policy and encouraged those who want change, to keep the pressure up "so that we end up with system that can work" instead of a system that "misses one of the crucial elements of the problem."
