'May's 'missteps' could undermine her authority'
The General Election is just a week away and there are signs that opinion polls are narrowing, as a more sceptical and questioning approach to Theresa May has emerged.
Fraser Nelson, editor of the Spectator magazine, believes the prime minister's style of leadership and fallout from the social care U-turn have caused tensions within the party's election campaign.
He told the World at One, that the magazine's latest front cover reflects the party's unease, with an image of a panicked looking Theresa May beside the headline 'General Shambles'.
