'Schools are not charities' says Labour
Shadow education secretary Angela Rayner has said Labour "absolutely guaranteed" that schools would receive a real terms increase in funding per pupil, if they win the general election.
She told Radio 4's World at One, that targeting schools and early years education was as important as the party's pledge to scrap university tuition fees.
