Political cartoonist, children's illustrator and the outgoing Children's Laureate, Chris Riddell, joined Paddy O'Connell at the Hay Festival to discuss how adults help children to process atrocities like the attack in the Manchester Arena that targeted young people.

Chris read what he described as a poem of hope, 'In the Dream', written by schoolgirl Samawado Farah at the First Story charity.
