Matt Dawson says the infamous 鈥榃arrenball鈥� style of rugby no longer exists.

Warrenball is a term used to describe British and Irish Lions coach Warren Gatland鈥檚 preferred style of play, but Dawson believes this is a myth.

Speaking during the Dawson and Mehrtens Rugby show, the former Lions scrum-half says: 鈥淚 played Warrenball with Wasps, but I don鈥檛 see it now [with the Lions].鈥�

Dawson believes the media are responsible for consistently attributing the term to Gatland and his teams, but admits he cannot see 鈥渨hat style of play鈥� the current Lions side are trying to implement.
