Andrew Cole: I鈥檓 recovering after kidney transplant
Former Manchester United striker Andrew Cole says he鈥檚 recovering following his recent kidney transplant operation.
The former footballer initially suffered kidney failure in 2015 as a result of contracting an airborne virus.
Cole said: 鈥淚t鈥檚 been tough, it鈥檚 gonna be tough...fingers crossed I鈥檒l keep going the way I have been, keep recovering.鈥�
He is now feeling well enough to return to football and later this summer will help coach a Manchester United Legends team against Barcelona Legends in aid of the United Foundation.
