Winter: Hart shouldn't be rushed off to scrapheap
The Times鈥 chief football writer Henry Winter says Joe Hart shouldn鈥檛 be 鈥渞ushed off to the scrapheap鈥 despite conceding two free-kicks against Scotland.
The England keeper was beaten twice in quick concession from similar positions by Leigh Griffiths as Scotland went from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 at Hampden.
鈥淲e know he鈥檚 got a vulnerability down to the left but I鈥檝e seen him make superb saves against Slovenia to keep England in a game, so let鈥檚 not write him off completely,鈥 added Winter.
Hart faces an uncertain future at club level, with his loan to Serie A side Torino now over and Pep Guardiola having signed Ederson Moraes for 拢35m from Benfica.
