Ex-firefighter: Tower fires 'almost an unsolvable problem'
Twelve people have died in a west London tower block fire and the number of deaths are expected to rise, police have said.
Mark Fishlock was a firefighter for more than 30 years. He explained to Radio 4's PM the difficulty of tackling such a fire.
"It spread externally and there is no simple way for firefighters to put water on fires outside very tall buildings," he said.
"It is almost an unsolvable problem."
