Liberal Democrat MP Alistair Carmichael has told 5 live鈥檚 Phil Williams the media 鈥渂ullied鈥� Tim Farron into resigning over his religious views.

Carmichael argued that Farron was constantly questioned about his personal views on gay sex while others weren鈥檛, and that these questions were not 鈥渞elevant鈥� to his leadership.
