Labour MP: We will not support the Queen's Speech
The shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury has said the Labour party will not be supporting the Queen's Speech and will explain their reasons in the Commons debates over the next six days.
Peter Dowd, explained to Radio 4's PM programme that their plan was not to bring the government down, but to "hold the government to account on every piece of legislation".
When asked if they planned to force another general election Mr Dowd replied "if necessary we would...but we're not in the business of creating problems for the sake of creating problems".
