The cricket commentator Henry Blofeld, best known as as Blowers, has announced his retirement after nearly 50 years in the Test Match Special box.

Speaking first to 5 live, Henry said 鈥淲ell, it鈥檚 been terrific fun.鈥�

鈥淚 think I find it a bit harder, and when you find something a bit harder it probably isn鈥檛 quite so much fun.鈥�

Henry will be commentating next month on the first two Tests against South Africa and then one last summer against the West Indies at Lords.
