Shah, a resident from the Chalcots Estate, talks about his evacuation experience after external cladding failed fire safety tests.

Residents have been evacuated to a nearby leisure centre in Swiss Cottage.

鈥淚n the beginning, they told us that we can鈥檛 accommodate you anywhere. You either stay here the night, or you find your own accommodation.鈥�

鈥淗ere at the leisure centre [we鈥檙e] on these inflatable beds, but it鈥檚 already overcrowded. Although there was somewhere to stay, there wasn鈥檛 somewhere to stay.鈥�

Camden Council said it was forced to evacuate four blocks because not only did the external cladding fail testing, but there were multiple other fire safety failures as well.
