Fallon: 'Britain would support US military action in Syria'
The US says it's identified 'potential preparations' for another Syrian chemical attack
The United States says it has identified "potential preparations" for another chemical weapons attack by the Syrian government.
The White House warned that the Assad regime would pay a "heavy price" if it conducted another chemical strike.
The Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon tells Nick Robinson that the British government would support "proportionate" US military action if the Syrian regime used chemical weapons.
Sir Michael also said any military action used must be legal and justified. He said the whole point was to "further degrade" Syria's capacity to carry out more chemical attacks.
