Living dragonfly drones take flight
Draper鈥檚 Dragonfl-eye is a living dragonfly with a solar-powered backpack that can control its movements using light pulses.
By genetically engineering the 鈥渟teering neurons鈥� of the dragonfly, researchers hope to be able to use the insect to get to areas larger drones cannot reach.
